The Committee of Correspondence took place in March, 1773. It was formed throughout the colonies as a way of coordinating action against Britain. Majority of the committee was formed by legislatures and others by governmental associations such as the Sons of Liberty. The members of the organization represented the leading men of each colony. After some time an act was coordinated in the colonies in action to go against Great Britain.
