October of 1765 Britain posted a special tax on all paper goods in the colonies sent representatives to the stamp act congress which was held in New York. Representatives prepared to go against the New actions. After the action, majority of the colonies joined together to oppose the British rule. Th result of the Action was that the British Parliament cancelled the Stamp Act and that same day Parliament passed the Declatory Act of 1776.
